Recognizing this imperative, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) leadership collaborated with Strathmore University Business School to design a Customised executive coaching Programme tailored for KRA Chief Managers – the Leader as Coach Programme.
Implemented in three immersive cohorts, the Programme delved deep into the principles and nuances of executive coaching, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence, effective communication, and the cultivation of a coaching mindset to inspire peak performance among teams. The participants engaged in intensive sessions, blending theory with hands-on practical experience, enabling them to integrate coaching seamlessly into their leadership approach.
The week-long Programme strengthened the participants’ leadership skills through inculcating executive coaching into their leadership styles. Further, it equipped the participants with the skills and mindset needed to navigate the intricacies of modern leadership, focusing not only on tangible outcomes but also on cultivating a culture of continuous growth and adaptability within the organization.
On Friday, 24th November 2023, a vibrant graduation ceremony marked the culmination of the journey for the 69 Chief Managers after successfully completing the Programme. The ceremony was not only a celebration of new skills gained but also the dedication of these leaders towards a continuous pursuit of excellence and growth.
