“I started a small business called Skymist, where I provide pure drinking water. My idea came along when I realized we have an idle borehole at home, which was initially intended for domestic use. I explored ideas on what to do with an idle borehole, and I learnt about distillation companies – I prefer to call it a water manufacturing plant.
Strathmore has helped me achieve this through the courses I learnt in class. My entrepreneurship classes helped me develop a business plan; my accounting classes have taught me to balance my books and manage my working capital.”
