The International Women’s Day provides an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the holistic contribution of women at a global scale. This year, we reflect on the broad theme of innovation and technology for gender equality which is aligned to the priority theme of the upcoming 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
On Friday, 3rd March 2023, we hosted the International Women’s Day Conference, an event that brought together more than 100 women from across different sectors in the country.
This year’s theme: DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality looks at innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
