The Masters in Public Policy and Management degree is a rigorous two-year programme designed to address the complex issues facing modern governments and other policy-making organizations while developing the general management skills of results-oriented professionals.
The programme gives you a practical learning experience using the case-study methodology which offers a unique opportunity for the application of practical skills, tools and ideas to real-life problems. Our broad pool of local and international faculty are actively engaged in shaping public policy, advising both governments and organisations, locally and internationally.
The core curriculum features Public Policy and Management, Public Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, General Management, Managing People in the public sector, and International aspects of public policy.
The programme offers a flexible mode of study and you can choose either evening or modular classes. This is tailored for busy executives who can opt to study for two weeks after every quarter or 3 evenings every week.
The MPPM programme is specifically designed for senior Managers and professionals both from the public sector and the corporate world with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
Academic Entry Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
Evening: Classes run for 3 days in a week from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and occasional Saturday mornings (8:30 am – 1:00 pm).
Modular Classes run on two-week full-day modules every three months.
The programme offers an intensive one-week international module at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service of New York University, one of the best schools in public policy courses in the US.
You will broaden your understanding of specific and cross-cutting global issues in public policy discourse.
The module delivered by renowned development experts from NYU and involves educational visits to New York City, Washington DC and Various government departments.

The fee caters for tuition, textbooks, cases, administrative fee and international module.
The fee for Modular also covers the meals for the duration of the course. There is a flexible payment schedule that allows you to pay in instalments.

The application fee is KShs 5,000 non-refundable. We administer our aptitude test called the Graduate Entrance Exam (GEE). However, you may present your GMAT results instead if they are less than four years old.
