On 20th August 2021, we graduated the second cohort of the New Managers Leadership Programme. The Programme ran from the 16th August 2021 and culminated in a graduation on 20th August 2021.
This second cohort attracted 41 participants from Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania. A total of 12 organizations ranging from Non profit, banks, insurance, Telcom, Academia, Financial Sector were represented. The third cohort of the Programme will take place between 1st November 2021 and 5th November 2021 at Strathmore University Business School.

Mais il y a de nombreux pièges à éviter lorsqu'il s'agit d'affiner ses compétences de manière globale. Si le nouveau manager a été reconnu pour ses compétences techniques, la gestion de soi et des autres est un terrain miné. Il doit apprendre à diriger les autres plutôt qu'à faire le travail lui-même, à motiver, à gérer ses pairs, à gagner la confiance et le respect, et à trouver le juste équilibre entre délégation et contrôle. C'est une transition que beaucoup trouvent difficile à réaliser.
The New Manager Leadership Programme (NMLP) is our entry-level leadership programme. It focuses on improving capabilities such as effective presentation and communication skills, team dynamics, planning and budgeting, the effective feedback process, problem-solving and conflict resolution, decision-making skills, and different management styles.
