SBS Adjunct Faculty Member Appointed Technical Assistance Advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Strathmore University Business School wishes to congratulate Doris Akol on her recent appointment as the Technical Assistance Advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Doris brings on board over 25 years of experience in taxation policy and administration. Prior to her appointment, Doris previously served as the Commissioner General at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) between 2014 and 2020. She also serves as a Partner at Kyagaba & Otatiina Advocates (Dentons Uganda).

Doris holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Makerere University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda. She also holds a Master of Laws Degree from McGill University in Canada.
