Kenya Coast National Polytechnic Management Team Trained in the Project Management Professional Programme

Last week, Strathmore University Business School trained 13 participants from the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic in the Project Management Professional Programme. The participants trained in this Programme were members of the Top Management Team at the institution.

This training Programme which ran in Mombasa between 3rd and 9th May 2021 was aimed at equipping the participants with effective skills for managing projects and they are set to sit for the PMI accreditation exam later this month.

The Programme further aimed to equip the participants with standards, knowledge, tools, methods and techniques that describe good practices, and provide globally recognized credentials that certify their project management expertise.

With current disruptive technologies, Project Managers need to be keen on emerging issues such as expanding automation and artificial intelligence, the increasing business value of “soft skills”, a growing tendency for method melding, shifting, globalized gig economy, increasingly competitive landscape, human-centred design and a greater focus on data.
