Strathmore University Business School (SBS) Recognized as a Transforming Business School in the 2023 Positive Impact Rating (PIR) Report

Strathmore University Business School (SBS) was rated a Transforming Business School in the 2023 Positive Impact Rating (PIR) report was launched on 14th June 2023 at the UN PRME Global Forum.

This year’s report, titled Accelerating the societal impact of business schools,  is the fourth edition and features insights on how to achieve such impact and how to accelerate change in business schools. It provides insights from schools in developing economies (Global South) and shares lessons learned from schools in developed economies (Global North).

The Positive Impact Rating (PIR) is conducted by students and for students. For the fourth time, students worldwide assessed their business schools on how they perceive their positive impact on the world. The positive impact of business schools goes beyond their contribution to business and the economy; it addresses the need for a positive societal impact.

In its endeavor to transform leadership in Africa in the 21st Century, École de commerce de l'université de Strathmore (SBS) has taken the responsibility of influencing the leadership of public and private sectors across the continent. This is the overarching mission at SBS, service to society through the development of international executive business management and leadership programmes.
