Synergy in Action: Strathmore University Hosts a Partners’ Appreciation Gala

Friday, 10th November 2023 marked a symbolic event, a Strathmore University partners’ appreciation gala, an event that saw the university host more than 100  partners for an event to celebrate partners for their continued support.

The gala was a heartfelt celebration, it was more than just an event; it was a testament to the reciprocal relationship between the university and its partners. The attendees, representing a spectrum of industries and sectors, were given an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and collectively revel in the impact of their collaborative efforts.

Strathmore University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vincent Ogutu giving his welcome address, emphasized the importance of partnerships and noted the partnerships and collaborations in finding the synergy to turn challenges into opportunities and transform possibilities into realities.

The keynote speaker, Arif Neky is the Senior Advisor for the UN Strategic Partnerships at the Resident Coordinator’s Office and the National Coordinator of the SDG Partnership drew from his extensive experience and shared profound insights into the value of partnerships in driving socio-economic development. Arif’s address illuminated the audience on the transformative potential of strategic collaborations and highlighted the role of partnerships in addressing global challenges.

In acknowledging and celebrating these partnerships, Strathmore University reinforces its commitment to the belief that, together, we can achieve far more than we could alone. The gala serves as a reminder that meaningful collaborations are the catalysts for transformative change.
