Supply chains sustainability is emerging as a major challenge for supply chain managers overseeing the flow of raw material and intermediaries towards the production of the final product. The challenge is further exacerbated when the geographic scope of the supply chain expands beyond Kenya to other countries in Africa and globally, requiring managers to address sustainability issues across different geographies and cultures with different sustainability targets.
It is against this backdrop that Strathmore University Business School organized a breakfast session that brought together supply chain practitioners and leading scholars in sustainability and supply chain management to deliberate these issues and assist managers to develop effective and productive solutions.
Les Supply Chains Management in Africa Programme is designed to specifically address the needs of managers in the context of Africa, and the learning objectives will be examined with explicit reference to the reality of Africa and its business dynamics. Specific emphasis will be placed on the multiple ways by which African firms participate in global supply chains and what local imperatives entail for the management of supply chains in the African context. The program is designed to meet the needs of African managers across the Continent. Learn more about this Programme ici.
