Strathmore University Business School and Capital Business School, Ethiopia Partner to Offer Executive Education Training

On Tuesday, 28th June 2022, SBS and Capital Business School in Ethiopia signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in offering executive education training for executives working in Ethiopian organizations.

Educational partnership is common practice in higher education with higher education institutions establishing academic collaborations and partnerships with other institutions for reasons such as resource sharing and curriculum innovation, among others.

Dr. George Njenga, Founding Dean, Strathmore University Business School, highlighted the importance of executive education Programmes and more so for a fast-growing economy such as Ethiopia. “We are looking to transform executives in Ethiopia, both in the public and private sectors through executive education training Programmes,” Dr. Njenga said.

Speaking during the MOU signing, Addis Alemayehou, Chairman, Kazana Group and Capital Business School noted the urgency of quality executive training in Ethiopia. “Ethiopia is opening up very fast and now more than ever, we need our executives in Ethiopian organizations to be as sharp and polished as they need to be,” Addis said.

Through this partnership, SBS and Capital Business School will support each other and collaborate with an aim of establishing a well-recognized center for the provision of executive education in Ethiopia.
