SBS Trains Senior Managers from the Pharo Foundation in a Customised Leadership Programme

Earlier this month, we trained a team of eight senior managers from the Pharo Foundation in a customised Programmed dubbed the Developing Leadership Capabilities Programme. The participants trained in this Programme were pulled from Rwanda, Ethiopia and Somaliland.

This Programme aimed to develop the leadership skills of the managers. By going through the Programme, participants discovered their potential and talents through a personality assessment and applied this knowledge throughout the Programme in different functions of leadership.

Leadership is not a preserve of the few but for all regardless of where they are in life and even when they don’t hold any positions or titles. This Programme challenged the participants to shift their mindset in how they see themselves and others. Executive coaching was also embedded into the Programme to guide the participants through their leadership journeys.

The Pharo Foundation is a private foundation based in the United Kingdom with operations in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia and Rwanda. The foundation was established in 2011 to increase access to education, agriculture, health, and water to help improve people’s livelihoods in its operation areas.
