SBS Graduates the First Cohort of the CEO Apprentice Programme (CAP) Tanzania 2020

Last week, SBS in partnership with the CEO Roundtable Tanzania (CEOrt) graduated 16 participants from the first cohort of the CEO Apprenticeship Programme (CAP) 2020. The participants graduating from this cohort were drawn from various sectors. The second cohort of the Programme is set to run later this year.

The graduation ceremony was graced by various key dignitaries from the Tanzanian Government; Mhe. Kassim Majaliwa- Prime Minister, Mhe. Faustine Ndungulile – Min of Minister of Communication & ICT, Mhe. Deo Ndejembi – Dy Min Public Services & Good Governance, Mhe. Kigahe Laoneka – Dy Min Of Ind & Trade and Mhe. Abubakar Kunenge – Regional Commissioner DSM.

Members of the Board of Directors of the CEO Roundtable were present: Sanjay Rughani- Board Chair, Brenda Msangi-Director, David Tarimo -Director, and Santina Benson- Executive Director. Carl Wagner, the Academic Director of the Global CEO Programme was also in attendance to represent SBS.

The CEO Apprentice Programme is offered by SBS in partnership with the CEO Roundtable Tanzania (CEOrt) and is designed for top and experienced leaders from both public and private sectors and who are looking to move into senior management. This Programme is a 12-month long Programme that aims to train the next crop of competent and experienced leaders who are ready to take on CEO positions and other top leadership positions.

Strathmore University Business School serves as the knowledge partner for the CAP TZ Programme.
