On 1 April 2026, Strathmore University Business School (SBS), through the Strathmore Global Institute-Tanzania, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange Academy to jointly design and deliver targeted training, capacity-building, and investor education Programmes. This partnership will equip participants with practical skills and knowledge for success in the financial sector.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to equipping professionals and investors with the skills and insight needed to navigate the evolving financial landscape.

As capital markets drive Africa’s economic growth, these initiatives are essential to building informed, resilient financial ecosystems.

Although Africa’s financial markets are expanding, gaps in financial literacy and investor education remain. Effective markets require participants to make informed decisions, supported by structured learning, relevant training, and ongoing professional development.

Through this partnership, Strathmore University Business School and the DSE Academy aim to close this gap by expanding access to high-quality financial education, building technical and strategic capacity, and strengthening investor awareness and participation.

This cross-border collaboration highlights the importance of regional integration in strengthening Africa’s financial system. For Strathmore University Business School, it reaffirms a commitment to developing skilled leaders who drive meaningful impact. The future of finance depends on people who understand markets.
