SBS Alumnus Appointed Head of Transfer Pricing at Andersen in Kenya

Strathmore University Business School wishes to congratulate James Karanja on his appointment as the Head of Transfer Pricing at Andersen in Kenya.

James is an international tax expert with 20 years of experience. He is the immediate former Head of Secretariat of Tax without Borders between 2016 and 2020.

He spearheaded Africa’s contribution to OECD-G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) as chair of the Africa Tax Administration Forum Technical Committee, the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs, and a member of OECD Working Party 1 on Tax treaties.

James is an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and Management Programme.
