Exploring the Fintech Ecosystem and the Future of Finance

Over the past decade, the Fintech Sector in Kenya has seen continuous growth with significant shifts driven by factors such as; technological advancements, changing consumer behaviors, regulatory developments and the push for increased financial inclusion.

Some of the key trends that have shaped the Fintech Ecosystem in Kenya include: mobile money, digital lending, insurtech, investment and wealth management, regulatory sandboxes, policy developments, financial inclusion and collaboration.

It is against this backdrop that Strathmore University Business School on Wednesday, 5th April 2023, hosted more than 100 players in the Kenyan Fintech Sector for a networking breakfast event.

The event, themed; Exploring the Fintech Ecosystem and the Future of Finance aimed to create a platform for stakeholders in the Fintech Sector to come together and look back at the history of the Fintech Sector as well as explore the future of the sector.
