Sisters undertaking the Social Enterprise Programme, Startup, and Growth modules under the Sisters Blended Value Project (SBVP) had the opportunity to showcase their business ideas through action learning projects.

It is impressive to note that the projects spanned across various industries such as agriculture, education, hospitality, and manufacturing, among others.

The sisters successfully pitched their presentations to a panel of judges from Strathmore University Business School faculty. These judges evaluated the business plans with the possibility of granting seed funds to further develop the projects. This opportunity can greatly contribute to the success and sustainability of the sisters’ social enterprises.

Their innovative ideas were met with enthusiasm and support from the panel of judges, highlighting the potential for positive social impact through social enterprises. These pitching sessions were the final requirement before the sisters graduated from the programme, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

The Sisters’ Blended Value Project has not only equipped the sisters with the necessary skills and knowledge to run social enterprises but also provided them with a platform to present and refine their business ideas. It’s inspiring to see their commitment and the positive reception their ideas received. These accomplishments further emphasize the transformative potential of empowering women within the religious community and supporting their entrepreneurial endeavors.
