Introduction

You are cordially invited to the 7th Annual Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Conference and Expo 2019.

The theme is “The Role of SMEs as the Engine of Economic Growth in Africa”.

The conference will have intriguing panel discussions and presentations by local and international entrepreneurs, faculty and regulators.

The panel discussions will focus on four key areas: agriculture and food security, housing and urbanization, universal healthcare and manufacturing.

It will also be a great opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs, exhibit your companies and build lasting relationships for strategic competitive advantage.

Conference Design

The Conference starts at 8.00am with welcome and Keynote speeches from the University representatives. Followed by high-level panel discussions and question.

Then the Key note speech from an expert with industry knowledge and experience. After lunch the Entrepreneurs will be assisted to have a one-hour guided networking session then proceed for the exhibitions until 6.30 pm both days.

The conference shall take place in the University main Auditorium while the exhibitions will take place at the University Graduation square. Both Corporates as well as SMEs will be exhibiting. We target to have 50 exhibitors which shall have a mix of SMEs and corporates which provide solutions to SMEs.

Conference Objectives

Conference Entry Criteria
  • The Delegates (SMEs) shall pay an entry fee of Kshs 5,000 which will cater for the two days meals.
  • Exhibition tent for SMEs will be provided at a cost of Kshs 25,000
  • Exhibition tent for  Corporates shall be provided at a cost of Kshs 50,000.

Our Targeted delegates/SMEs come from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
