The evening was a celebration of leadership, legacy, and learning. The CEOs were joined by esteemed members of the Board and staff of SGI Uganda, including Dr. George Njenga, Founding Dean, Strathmore University Business School, Prof. Izael Da Silva, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Eng. Dr. Julius Butime, Dean, School of Computing and Engineering, Anthony Kahindi, University Secretary, Kellen Kariuki, Associate Dean, Executive Education, Anita Asiimwe, Country Director, SGI Uganda, Francis Thenge, and Kevin Rwanyarare, Business Development Managers, SGI Uganda.
A memorable toast was led by Mona Ssebuliba (aBi Finance), who shared her journey through Strathmore’s programmes and paid tribute to the institution’s leadership, from the founding Dean to the current Dean, for their unwavering commitment to excellence and contribution to leadership development over the past two decades.
As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that Strathmore’s impact continues to resonate strongly across the region. The CEO Connect Dinner reaffirmed the institution’s role as a catalyst for ethical leadership and a hub for lifelong executive learning in Africa.
