Enterprise Development Programme
Who Qualifies for the Strathmore Enterprise Development Programme?
- The business must have operated for more than 3 years, with more than 3 employees and with an annual turnover of KES 3 million and above.
- The student must be the decision maker in the business and the majority shareholder.
How Long is the EDP programme?
10 weeks (8 class sessions, 1 full day per week for 8 weeks and 1 field visit per week for 2 weeks)
How are the modules staggered/spread?
Every Wednesday, half-day 8:00am – 12:45pm
When is the graduation?
After completion of the programme, November
What do I get when I graduate?
This is not an academic Programme-It is an Executive programme that helps your business to grow to the next level and also empowers you as a business owner. So at the end of it, you receive Strathmore University Business School Certificate in Entrepreneurial Skills.

No
How much is the school fee and what are the payment plans?
Fees: Kshs 180,000 payable in upto 4 equal installments
What are the other benefits of enrolling on this programme?
The training is practical, with a mixture of Industry trainers, we mainly use real-Life case studies, group discussions and experiential learning which involves peer to peer business visits to deliver practical examples. Networking is on a high level since all the participants own successful businesses.
The entrepreneurs are taught how to come up with a bankable business plan which is then reviewed by our faculty. This is a graduation requirement.
What else after EDP?
The participants can later join the Owner Manager Programme.
We also organize networking forums for entrepreneurs alumni yearly, you automatically become an alumnus of Strathmore Business School and you attend all alumni events for networking purposes. We also organize international trips for EDP alumni. We also have many other programmes in Strathmore at an alumni can join with a discounted rate.
