Strathmore University Business School and the SGH Warsaw University in Poland have partnered to offer an Entrepreneurship Programme for SBS female Undergraduate students. The Programme dubbed the New Business Leaders for a New World Programme aims to empower the young female students and offer them an opportunity to network with other female students from around the world.

The project will be targeting female students from Senegal, Kenya, Mauritius, Tanzania and Ethiopia. It is aimed to build their personal and professional competencies in entrepreneurship and business management.

Under this Programme, the students will have an intensive two-week course in Warsaw, Poland on entrepreneurship and business management. The Programme will include class sessions and practical training sessions in the form of workshops, seminars and projects.

Some of the key areas the students will learn include the history and culture of Poland and Europe, women entrepreneurship and business simulation among many other topics.

The students will also get a chance to visit the best historical and tourist sites like Krakow, Wieliczka and Auschwitz in Poland. They will also learn Polish cuisine, networking and buddy assistance whereby they will be linked with someone whom they will keep communicating with even after the Programme is over.

At Strathmore University Business School, we offer three Undergraduate Programmes, the Bachelor of Commerce Programme, the Bachelor of Financial Services Programme and the Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain and Operations Management Programme. Learn more about our Undergraduate Programmes here
