Strathmore Institute of Public Policy and Governance in conjunction with London School of Economics- Innovations and Research held a one day research workshop on 23rd June 2016 on Entrepreneurial IT Innovations in Kenya.
The collaborative research workshop converged scholars and practitioners whose main trade areas are on IT innovations and their applications to the entrepreneurial landscape.
Prof. Robert Mudida, Director Strathmore Institute of Public Policy and Governance applauded the success of the workshop mentioning that it was a good avenue for doctoral fellows to further develop their research concepts through exchanging ideas and presenting on their findings in a rich academic environment.
Prof. Mudida together with Dr. Christian Busch, LSE presented a collaborative paper on Institutions and Social Networks for Productive Employment: A Case Study of IT Firms in Kenya. “It’s our hope that through our collaborative research works with LSE, that the foundations formed will grow into a vibrant ground for development of research on innovations and further expand to the adoption relevant policies on innovations,” remarked prof.Mudida.
