Strathmore Business School (SBS), has been ranked by webometrics as the eighth best Business School in Africa. The 2015 rankings have listed SBS among other 28 best universities in Africa on the Ranking Web of World Business Schools website.
The “Ranking Web of World Business Schools” is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
This ranking comes shortly after the 2014 ranking by Eduniversal, which listed SBS as the best Business School in Kenya. SBS received three palmes of excellence, recognising it for being an excellent business school with reinforcing international influence.
The recent rankings are a testament that SBS is living its mission of developing transformative leaders in Africa and beyond. The bewildering rate of change in new ethical and governance challenges increases the demand for great ethical leaders with a passion for excellence. Such leaders will make wise decisions that balance short-term considerations with the achievement of long-term objectives.
SBSs affiliations with other international institutions have added to its body of knowledge and thus are a major contributor the rise of SBS as a leading business school in the region.
