Vice Dean, Executive Talent Development
Patricia Murugami is currently, the Director of Executive Education at Strathmore Business School. Before joining SBS, she worked at Bamburi Cement, part of the Lafarge group where she was a Business Controller and has previously held different roles in audit and consulting in Deloitte and Touche, KPMG and Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers). She was one of the women nominated in the Top 40 under 40 2010 survey by Business Daily for her remarkable achievements throughout her business life.
She is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA Leadership & Management) from International School of Management. She holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Marketing option) and an MBA in Strategic Management & Marketing from the University of Nairobi. She is also a holder of CPA (Certified Public Accountant)-Kenya, IMIS-UK (Institute of Management Information Systems).
Dr. Ben Ngoye
Academic Director, Healthcare Programs
Dr Ben Ngoye trained as a clinician and a public health and organizational development professional and his experience ranges from the cycle of project management, project conceptualization, resource mobilization and business development, to assessments and evaluations, organization learning and knowledge management. Hes currently the Technical Assistance Manager of the UNAIDS-funded Technical Support Facility in Eastern Africa.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery MB, Ch.B (University of Nairobi), Master of Science in Public Health (University of London – London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine), Master of Science in Organizational Development – EMOD (United States International University USIU Africa) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine – University of London).
Cavin Otieno Opiyo
Manager, Healthcare Programs
Cavin Opiyo is a Sociologist with wide experience in the healthcare industry particularly at the Policy Level. Cavin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Egerton University and a postgraduate Diploma (AHMP) from the Strathmore Business School. Currently he is pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Medical Sociology at the University of Nairobi.
Previously, Cavin worked for the German International Cooperation (GIZ) for three years (2008-2011) in the Kenya Health Sector Programme as an advisor to the government of Kenya on partnership arrangements between the public sector and the wider private sector. Before joining GIZ, he worked with the Kenya Episcopal Conference in the Health Commission as a Programme Officer and with Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital as head of hospital planning.
