It's a wrap for SMLP 2012

Senior Executives and Heads of Departments from various sectors and regions congregated at SBS for the fourth and final module of the Senior Management Leadership Program (SMLP), which commenced on 26th November 2012.

The seasoned pool of faculty included Dr. Robert Mudida, Dr. Majid Twahir, Patricia Murugami, Dr. Ceasar Mwangi and Gladys Ogallo. Among the topics covered included Managing Organisational Performance, Dictatorship and Corporate Governance, Managing Upwards and Wisdom at Work, Progressing in your Leadership Journey and Future Trends in the World Economy.

The program provided a platform for interaction and the sessions were eye openers on different areas which affect management. Each of the senior managers shared their experiences and ideas on strategy development and implementation within their different organisations. While teaching on objective setting, Gladys Ogallo emphasized on the importance of linking objectives to overall goals of organisations.

SMLP is structured in a modular format divided into 4 separate modules which are spread out over a period of eight months. It integrates key management concepts and best practices to develop strategic thinking and leadership skills. It also offers an integrated view of the business landscape in relations to the market dynamics.
