Introduction To Adolescence

Parenting 11 to 13 year olds

Childhood comes to an end for girls and boys; they enter puberty.

A set of psychosomatic changes then take place inside them which, together with aggressive outside influences, disturb their sensibilities and change their behavior. We call this period adolescence.

On this Family Enrichment course parents analyze the causes and effects of these changes and study the most appropriate guidelines for maintaining a strong, sensible relationship with their children, without limiting their natural discovery of the world around them, which requires them to start being themselves.
