Global Leadership Immersion: Participants of the Advanced Management Programme visit IESE Business School, Spain

Between 18th to 22nd September 2023,  participants of the Advanced Management Programme embarked on an enlightening journey as they visited IESE Business School for their international module. This immersive week-long experience opened doors to profound learning opportunities and interaction with esteemed faculty members from IESE Business School.

During the week- long module, the participants delved into key topical areas that are paramount in today’s dynamic business landscape. These areas included discussions on the world economic outlook, strategies for creating value through international expansion, the pursuit of operational excellence, the art of leading diverse teams, the imperative of driving digital transformation, and the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset, among other subjects. These comprehensive topics aimed to equip business leaders with a global perspective, enabling them to navigate the ever-evolving world of business and propel their organizations to new heights.

Beyond the in-class sessions, the participants actively engaged in group case study discussions, fostering collaborative problem-solving. They also took part in team-building exercises, strengthening their interpersonal skills, and embarked on an exciting LEGO simulation game that challenged their strategic thinking. Moreover, the experience extended beyond the school premises as participants visited the renowned FC Barcelona Museum and explored the operations of the Port of Barcelona during a company visit.

The Advanced Management Programme is offered by Strathmore University Business School, the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Ghana, and IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
