Africa, a continent pulsating with diversity, innovation, and boundless untapped potential holds intricate dynamics that shape its business landscape.
Seeking to delve into the depths of the risks and rewards associated with doing business in Africa, Strathmore University Business School (SBS) entered a strategic partnership with IESE Business School in Spain, to curate an international module specifically tailored for Executive MBA students from IESE.
It is against that backdrop that this week, SBS is hosting 60 Executive MBA students from IESE for this international module. The Module, dubbed, The Africa Balance Sheet: Risks and Rewards of Doing Business in Africa, began last evening with a welcome dinner at Weston Hotel.
This programme gives the visiting students a comprehensive experience, including class sessions, guest speaker presentations, panel discussions, local company visits, and interactive simulation exercises with SBS MBA students. Each activity is meticulously crafted to provide participants with a profound understanding of the African perspective on doing business.
The programme comprises sessions with faculty members from both Schools and gives MBA students from both Schools a chance to interact and understand the different aspects of business in the continent through case studies and experiential learning.
