Second Year Undergraduate Parents Seminar

On Saturday 12th November 2022, we held a parents seminar for second year Undergraduate parents. During the seminar, the parents were taken through various topics such as parental awareness, mentoring and mental health.

Dr David Mathuva, the Director of Undergraduate Programmes at SBS urged the parents to take an interest in their children’s performance. “Your child’s performance can tell you a lot about what is going on in their lives.” He further emphasized by explaining that poor performance could be an indicator of a bigger problem occurring in their children’s lives.

Jeremiah Mong’ayo from the International Office took the parents through the exchange Programmes that are accessible to Undergraduate students and the role they play in exposing the students to opportunities available in their different fields of study.
