Strathmore University Business School (SBS) wishes to congratulate Dr. Angela Ndunge, a faculty member and the former Deputy Executive Dean, on her recent appointment to the Social Health Authority by the Cabinet Secretary for Health.
Dr. Ndunge holds a Master’s in Work and Organisational Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham (UK). Her extensive expertise spans leadership development, occupational health and safety, social influence at work, workplace mental health, and more.
As the Principal Investigator for the Driving Country-Level Change: Women in Health Leadership Program, which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Dr. Ndunge leads efforts to advance women’s leadership in Kenya’s health sector through organizational and systemic change. Additionally, she spearheads the Sisters Blended Value Project (SBVP), supported by the Conrad Hilton Foundation. A project which transforms religious social ministries into sustainable social enterprises across Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Her appointment to the Social Health Authority reflects her exceptional contributions to healthcare and leadership, and we are confident she will bring transformative impact to this critical role.
