SBS Alumnus Appointed Lead Advisor for the Digital Economy Strategy by the E-Government of Zanzibar

Strathmore University Business School wishes to congratulate Frank Molla, the Managing Director & Head of SSA at BPC (Banking Payments & Commerce) on his recent appointment by the E-Government of Zanzibar as the Lead Advisor for Strategy, Digital Economy Advisory Council (DEAC) 2023-2027.

His role is limited to; Advisory level around the below pillars of the DEAC;

  • Establishing digital government common framework (policies, regulations, laws),
  • Harmonize integration (interoperability),
  • Security – secure (Fraud & Cybersecurity),
  • Innovative ICT solutions for blue economy and development of human capital.

Frank has over two decades experience in the payments, digital and technology space across Europe, UK, Middle East and Africa. He has previously worked with Mastercard to drive the Eastern African strategy through innovation and technology and at American Express (Europe & UK) where he led efforts to identify, grow and defend market share in Sub-Saharan Africa in the corporate multinational space and bank partnerships. Prior to which he was with ABSA Bank Kenya

Frank is a certified Master Negotiator by Strathmore University Business School and an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme, Senior Management Leadership Programme and The Effective Director Programme.
