Throughout last week, participants of the Global CEO Africa Programme visited the privilege of Yale School of Management for their international module. The Global CEO Africa Programme, Class of 2023 features a rich participant mix of CEOs and top tier business leaders representing Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria.
Under the expert guidance of seasoned faculty members from Yale School of Management, this intensive week-long programme exploring diverse topics such as business strategy, innovation, barriers to innovation and the global economic outlook among others. The sessions have been both illuminating and valuable, fostering the exchange of invaluable knowledge and insights among the participants.
In addition to the in-class sessions, the participants have had the opportunity to embark on experiential learning journeys. They visited Pfizer, providing them with real-world insights into the workings of a leading global corporation. The visit to the Yale University Art Gallery offered a cultural perspective, while dinner at the Yale School of Management Provost’s house added a touch of academic camaraderie to the experience.
Today the global, interconnected world calls for executive leaders who are uniquely attuned to the economic currents and market shifts that could advance or undermine their firm’s long-term sustainability. The Global CEO Africa Programme is designed for African business leaders to enhance their strategic vision and equip them with new tools to better navigate disruptive trends that characterize today’s business environment.
