Strathmore Business School’s Uganda Leadership Development Academy held its 2nd annual graduation ceremony on 11th November 2017, ushering over 50 senior and mid-level executives into the rich pool of Strathmore Business School Alumni network.
The 3-modular programs; Senior Management Leadership Program, Management Development Program, and Women in Leadership Program attracted attendance from top reputable organisations in Uganda. The companies represented include; Umeme Uganda Ltd, Eskom Uganda Ltd, Pride Microfinance Uganda, TopFinance Bank, Uganda, Advance Microfinance Uganda, Padre Pio Insurance Brokers, NIC General Insurance, Britam Insurance, Centenary Bank, Uganda Road Fund. The modules were followed up by both individual and team coaching to enable the participants translate classroom knowledge into tangible measurable impact.
FSDA has been instrumental in the development of the SBS Regional Leadership Development Academies in Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. This has been through a capacity building grant by FSDA to SBS with the objective of developing and training over 1,000 senior and mid-level executives in the financial sector across the three countries.
Strathmore Business School’s Uganda Leadership Development Academy (ULDA) is one of the three leadership development academies which are making a footprint in Eastern Africa. ULDA has been in existence for the past two years.
