Strathmore Business School(SBS) has signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lagos Business School- Nigeria, which will not only foster stronger academic ties between both institutions but also economic and cultural exchanges.
The MoU has been effective since September 4, 2014,and will be valid for the next 6 years.
With the partnership, both schools will have faculty and student exchange programmes, joint organisation of research/workshops and publications, curriculum development in management education, online learning development projects as well as short-term academic programmes/ executive education.
Going forward, SBS and Lagos Business School will also collaborate with public and private agencies, foundations, multilateral organisations and their governments to develop projects that will drive sustainable development in their respective communities.
SBS collaborates with some of the world’s leading business schools and associations in line with one of its values- Trailblazing, as an effort to transform leaders in the continent. Last week, the School signed an MoU with Nanyang Business School, Singapore to boost the relevance of its academic/executive programmes and faculty capacity.
Other schools and associations that the School is partnering include: IESE Business School, Barcelona; the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), Association of African Business Schools (AABS) and Antai College of Economics and Management.
