It has always been said that good leadership and management skills are very essential if a business or enterprise is to thrive and be successful.
Even for those with natural management abilities, one still needs to further develop and enhance their skills, especially in relation to the kind of industry and enterprise you are involved in. One of the best ways to do so is to develop those skills through management training.
Therefore Strathmore Business School (SBS) is excited to announce that it will launch its first online management Course. Managing Markets & Customers – in partnership with Africa Management Initiative.(AMI)
The online management course will be launched on the 7th of July at SBS. This is a partnership between SBS, AMI, GIBS and LBS and its main aim is to develop an online platform for Africans by Africans.
Before developing the program, AMI conducted a pilot of the online program and approximately 10 million people across Africa applied for the course. Therefore anyone can register for the course from the comfort of their offices and homes and take up the course conveniently without interrupting their day-to-day activities. This sets up a platform for very many Africans to access online education from any part of Africa.
The first unit of the course “Managing Markets” has been done by SBS and has just been concluded.
“AMI is a social enterprise that empowers African managers and entrepreneurs through practical and accessible learning and development tools. Managing Markets is the first course on the new learning platform, developed for Africans by Africans.
