Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, a partner school of Strathmore Business School has risen to be among the top 15 varsities in the world for the first time, according to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings for 2015/2016 released on Tuesday 15th September 2015.
The university’s business school has a partnership with SBS, in which there is a faculty exchange from both schools. In addition, participants from the Senior Management Leadership Program offered at SBS attend an international module at Nanyang. The partnership in the near future will offer participants from Nanyang an opportunity to learn the operations of business in the Kenyan and African context.
NTU jumped 26 places, from 39th to 13th in this year’s global university rankings. Its Engineering and Technology faculties were also ranked 6th in the world this year, while Natural Sciences was in 15th place. The university surpassed Ivy League schools including Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, which took the 15th and 18th places respectively.
Strathmore Business School has also partnered with other top international schools including IESE Business School-Spain, Gordon Institute of Business Sciences-South Africa, Lagos Business School-Nigeria, Asian Institute of Management-Philippines, Jia Tong University and Antai College of Economics & Management-China.
