SBS Alumnus Appointed EACC CEO

The National Assembly, on 17th December 2018, approved Major (RTD) Twalib Mbarak, a Strathmore Business School alumnus, as the CEO of the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC).

Major (RTD) Twalib, who studied Senior Management Programme (SMLP) in 2015 at SBS, emerged top in a pool of 14 candidates.

SMLP integrates key management concepts and best practices to develop strategic thinking and leadership skills as well as an integrated view of the business landscape in relations to the market dynamics.

The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission gathers information on corruption occurring in Government and the public sector from a variety of sources. These sources include members of the public, heads of government departments and agencies, officials working in both the public and private sectors and the media.
