Entrepreneurs often face risks and challenges while running their businesses. However, the journey towards entrepreneurship is often tagged as rewarding. The Owner Manager Program held at SBS provides a unique opportunity for owner managers to step back from the day-to-day demands of running their businesses.
OMP Module III began on Tuesday 11th October on a high note with a session on Living and Leaving your Legacy. The participants, Owner Managers of their own businesses had other key learnings on how to establish a Pan African business, entering new markets, managing the innovation process, branding for growing businesses, leadership in communication and competing in dynamic markets garnered from subsequent sessions. Key sessions were held whereby the participants were able to share their experiences from their own businesses enabling them to learn from each other.
The pool of experienced local and international faculty included Patricia Murugami Director, Executive Education, SBS, Betty Radier – Marketing Director at Samsung Electronics Benelux, Dr. Edward Mungai Dean, SBS, Dr. Monica Kerretts-Makau Adjunct faculty, SBS and Douglas de Villiers – CEO, Interbrand Sampson Africa.
