Mr. Mairura Omwenga, the Chairman of Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK) on 27th September 2018 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Strathmore University Business School (SBS) and the Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK) to establish a framework of co-operation between the two institutions, for the development of the members of TCPAK in the areas of Leadership and Management.
The MoU signing was led by Dr. Angela Ndunge- Deputy Executive Dean of SBS. Other attendees from TCPAK are David Gatimu- Vice Chairman, Wanjiku Macharia- Assistant Treasurer and Pauline Masita – Secretariat.
TCPAK will collaborate with SBS by providing experts to support to the training and development programmes and projects. In addition, they will participate in research, workshops, conferences, projects or initiatives where TCPAK has relevant expertise and experiences.
Strathmore Business School plays an active role in the capacity development of the corporate workforce through its management leadership and development programmes that integrate key concepts and best practices; to develop strategic thinking and leadership skills as well as an integrated view of the business landscape in relation to the market dynamics.
