The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection through the State Department for Social Protection in collaboration with Strathmore’s Centre for Research on Organizations Work and Family (CROWF) is conducting a Special Family Survey with the aim of gathering views from Kenyans to help carry out appropriate actions to assist Families in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic that will form part of the inaugural State of the Family Report.
Strathmore University’s CROWF has been in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection in developing a Draft National Policy on Family Promotion and Protection (NPFPP)*. The Draft Policy was affirmed, confirmed and validated by all critical stakeholders on 17th September 2019 at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.

All collected information will be confidential and anonymous and will be used by CROWF/PFD and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection for research and analysis purposes.
CROWF was established in 2006 with a mission to assist and engage persons, families and companies to explore how the family unit influences work, organizations, businesses and society in general to thrive. The Program for Family Development (PFD) has been running Case-Study-Based courses for couples on Marriage, Parenting and Character Education.
