Bryan Wanyande, the CEO and Founder of The Aerospace Logistics Centre (TALC), together with his family are the inaugural sponsors of the first two pews of the total 30 at the Business School’s Chapel.
The Aerospace Logistics Centre specializes in providing value added services, specifically meeting the needs of the local aviation and aerospace industries.
Bryan Wanyande is also an alumnus of the Strathmore School class of ’81, an association to which he attributes the shaping of his character. “I have, from my days at Strathmore School, always kept touch with my mentors and spiritual guides, who have greatly helped me in my growth.”
“I have given my support for the Chapel as I have always found strength in being able to take part in the celebration of Holy Mass, in the opportunity to receive the sacrament of penance through confession and in other such like activities which are invaluable to any human being,” said Mr. Wanyande.
He, his family and company employees have heeded to SBS’ call for sponsorship in the Chapel by donating two Pews. “I find fulfillment in helping people develop spiritually through participating and contributing to the development of places of worship. The opportunity to sponsor pews at Strathmore Business School is indeed a great honor to me,” he added.
As the head of a family of six, Mr. Wanyande remarkably tells of his inherent duty in being the shepherd of his household and he indicates that this gesture is a reflection of his family’s concern in a wholesome human development. “I hope that through the continuous support of such initiatives my family will embrace and follow my example, that this gesture will help them appreciate the act of giving. In addition, it’s my aspiration that my company, through my board of directors, managers and other staff members will be able to contribute to the development of individual people and society at large.
“I hope that the Chapel is going to become a source of inspiration to the people who come for intellectual growth at the Business School and most importantly I hope it will help their spiritual growth. It’s our prayer that this donation will not only be received by the Business School, but in heaven as well,” he concluded.
