As we begin a new year, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you, your families, and your organizations. The past year has been one with great challenges and changes, but I am encouraged by the resilience, determination, and innovativeness that I have seen in the African business community.
I would like to thank you immensely for choosing Strathmore University Business School (SBS) as your preferred knowledge partner. I am particularly proud of the impact that our programmes have had in the development of agile, resilient, innovative, and ethical leaders across the African continent. We have had the privilege of collaborating with global business schools, multi-sectoral organizations, and business leaders to create societal transformation and impact.
As we move into the new year, I wish to reiterate our commitment to rebuilding stronger, more sustainable organizations through our Executive Education training, consultancy, and bespoke solutions. We will continue engaging our alumni, programme participants and clients through different networking opportunities, knowledge forums and events in a move to continue honing their skills, expertise, and knowledge they need to remain competitive in today’s global business environment.
We remain steadfast in our mission of Developing Great African Leaders who will transform the world. As such, we will continue collaborating with partner schools across the globe, faculty and business leaders in different sectors and organizations to achieve transformational leadership in Africa.
This year presents an opportunity for all of us to continue building successful enterprises in Africa, for Africa, by Africa. In line with the University’s theme, Caring for Our Common Home; a Reflection on Building a Sustainable Future, in this we have an opportunity to collaborate towards creating societal impact for a sustainable future.
Once again, I want to thank you for your trust, confidence, partnership, and continued support of SBS and your dedication to the success of the African business landscape. I look forward to working with you to enhance transformation at the individual, organizational, continental, and global levels.
Some may say welcome back, but we at SBS think it is more fitting to say Welcome Home! I wish you and your families, fulfillment, opportunities to thrive, good health, and blessings – Cheers to more wins in 2023!
