Theme: Future of Supply Chain

As the business world evolves, the importance of supply chains in social-economic development can never be disregarded. Amid their importance and as the backbone of global economic development, supply chains face a myriad of challenges such as disruptions, a change in the labour market, and inadequate skills and capacities among many. Against this background, the building of future supply chains becomes vital through the lessons and successes of the supply chains operating today. How then does the future look like? from the lens of the supply chain. This supply chain disruption week aims to uncover important discussions from technology, sustainability, resilience and uncertainty, and traceability among many others. You are invited as a key stakeholder to contribute to these discussions towards the future of the supply chain. Please note that your views will be collected to inform a practitioner’s report as away of engaging and giving value to the broader supply chain community.

The 2023 supply chain disruption week will look into the “Future of Supply Chain” underpinning a myriad of evolving issues such as technology, sustainability, Global trade signals, Uncertainty, due diligence, lessons from supply chain power houses and global manufacturing engines. The supply chain disruption week targets stakeholders in the public, private and third sector for the week.
