Last week, we had the privilege of facilitating an exclusive training session for the board members of Forum CIV Kenya at the tranquil Outback Kenya Lounge in Maanzoni. The immersive two-day Programme, dubbed the Forum CIV Board Governance Programme, explored three thematic areas: Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Board Dynamics. Our mission was to equip board members with the expertise and tools necessary to elevate their oversight capabilities.
Magnus Lindell, Chair of the board, expressed deep appreciation for the Programme’s impact, highlighting its role in fostering strategic planning, identifying organizational vulnerabilities, and uncovering immediate opportunities for enhancement. The board departed with newfound empowerment to enact positive change and enhance their oversight functions.
