Over the past six months, we have been training the senior management team at UGAFODE Microfinance Limited in a custom Programme dubbed the UGAFODE Senior Leadership Development Programme.
This Programme saw 11 members of the senior management team go through and intensive Programme, meticulously designed to foster leadership excellence in the organization.
The Programme featured two intensive two-day modules coupled with executive coaching sessions spread across four sessions. These sessions provided a robust framework for the executives to enhance their leadership skills, focusing on real-world applications and strategic thinking. Each executive embarked on an Action Learning Project (ALP); a cornerstone of the programme aimed at translating theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
On June 27th, the participants presented their ALPs to a distinguished panel, including their Executive Director, Mr. Joshua Mugalu, Master Certified Coach Joan Mugenzi, Coach John Karionji, and Regional Director of Strathmore Global Institute, Daisy Saina. The presentations underscored the participants’ ability to apply learned principles to their organizational contexts, driving meaningful improvements and innovations.
The culmination of the programme was marked by the Action Learning Project presentations and the graduation ceremony. Participants shared compelling stories of their journeys, showcasing the successful implementation of insights and strategies gleaned from the two modules. The event was a testament to their growth, resilience, and commitment to excellence.
