On Thursday 13th and Friday 14th April 2023, Strathmore University Business School (SBS) hosted the USAID KIM team, Business Advisory Services Providers (BASPs) for a curriculum review and validation workshop.
The workshop draws from the results of a mapping assessment that provided a basis for the curriculum development as well as the work of the team to establish a responsive intervention for the BASPs.
The draft curriculum includes the internal and external aspects of BASPS as enterprises with some of the key modules covering areas such as; the regulatory landscape, people management, leveraging technology for business, ethics, risk management, product development, and the deal process.
This review workshop was preceded by a co-creation session between SBS and KIM that built an ownership of the results of the curriculum framework.
