On Thursday, 24th February 2023, we graduated 63 participants from the Strathmore Global Institute- Uganda. Among the participants graduating were participants from the Women in Leadership Programme and the Management Development Programme, along with Catholic Sisters from the Conrad Hilton Foundation funded Sisters’ Blended Value Project (SBVP). The SBVP Programme is offered by Strathmore University Business School in partnership with the Association of Consecrated Women in Eastern and Central Africa (ACWECA) and aims to empower Catholic sisters operating Social Enterprises within the ACWECA regions.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Dr. Caesar Mwangi, Executive Dean, Strathmore University Business School emphasized to the new graduates the importance of creating a movement of change in a bid to make Africa great. “We are creating a movement of change, a movement to create a new narrative and sheds a new light on this great continent. You are all going to be part of this movement of greatness,”Dr Mwangi noted.
Over the past year, the Strathmore Global Institute Uganda has trained more than 300 executives from different sectors in Uganda through our Executive Education Programmes. Among these programmes, we had 13 custom programmes for organizations and 6 programmes for individuals.
