BSCM Student Wins Kühne Foundation Essay Contest on Low-Carbon Logistics Opportunities

Rebecca Nasambu, a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management (BSCM) student recently won the Kühne Foundation essay contest, presenting on innovative opportunities for the logistics sector in a low-carbon society by 2050. This prestigious recognition earned her the chance to participate in the inaugural UN Global Supply Chain Forum, hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Government of Barbados.

Her essay, which explores the transformative potential of sustainable logistics practices, highlights actionable strategies to reduce carbon footprints in global supply chains. This achievement underscores the growing importance of integrating environmental considerations into supply chain management.
