Towards the end of September 2023, a transformative event unfolded as students pursuing the BSc. One speaker emphatically conveyed a vital message: “the world’s battle with COVID-19 won’t be its last encounter with a pandemic. Consequently, supply chain professionals must remain vigilant and prepared for future disruptions, potentially through meticulous supplier mapping.”

Some of the key topics addressed included the inspirational notion that the right attitude can lead to remarkable achievements. Additionally, thought-provoking discussions pondered the place of procurement at the executive table and highlighted the numerical acumen required of supply chain professionals.

This session offered students a chance to align their classroom learning with industry expectations, fostering a profound appreciation for the theoretical aspects of their studies.
