Advancing Coaching Excellence: Highlights from End-Year Coaches Meet-Up

On November 15, 2024, Strathmore Business School’s Executive Coaching Department brought together its vibrant coaching community for the End-Year Coaches Meet-Up under the theme Reignite & Elevate Coaching. The event celebrated the department’s remarkable impact and set the stage for the future of coaching excellence.

With over 1,000 clients served annually, the Executive Coaching Department continues to drive personal and professional breakthroughs. The event highlighted how coaching at SBS empowers individuals to realize their leadership potential and fosters transformation across industries and sectors.

The meet-up was more than just a gathering. It was a powerful moment to reflect on achievements, share insights, and spark new ideas to elevate the coaching experience at SBS.

Key highlights included:

• Inspiring insights. The keynote speaker, Irene Kinuthia (Master Certified Coach, MCC) delivered a captivating address on Elevate & Evolve: A Path to Coach Mastery, leaving attendees inspired to push the boundaries of their coaching practice.
• Regional transformation. Thought-provoking talks from leaders like Kimunya Mugo and Prof. Gilbert Kokwaro emphasized coaching’s role in driving regional and organizational change through impactful initiatives such as the Leadership Management and Governance (LMG) Program and the Sisters Blended Value Project (SBVP).
• Interactive dialogue. Engaging sessions explored feedback, training needs, and the evolving expectations of SBS clients.

The meet-up also provided opportunities for networking and relationship-building. From a lively breakfast kick-off to a closing lunch, coaches strengthened connections, shared experiences, and celebrated their contributions to SBS’s legacy of coaching excellence.
